The Comprehensive Argument Against Obama

Posted by cann0nba11 on October 22, 2008

This is just a nod to Mary Katharine Ham andGuy Benson’s excellent work posted at HotAir.com. The list below is a summary of the details and many videos supporting the statements below. Check it out and spread the truthful word!

ABORTION

  • In his final debate with John McCain, Obama asserted that “nobody is pro-abortion.”
  • doesn’t want his daughters “punished with a baby.”
  • promises to abolish bans on partial-birth abortion and parental notification laws nationwide
  • will implement tax-payer funded abortions
  • argued against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act

TAXES

  • assures Americans that 95% of us will taxes slashed (yet 405 or so don’t pay taxes)
  • told us taces on the so-called rich are designed to “spread the wealth around,” which Obama explains is “good for everybody.”
  • Can’t defend the economically negative act of raising capital gains taxes other than telling us it’s fair.

RADICAL ASSOCIATIONS

  • Won’t be open about his relationships (Ayers, Wright, ACORN and others)
  • Sought prosecution against a pro-McCain supporter running a truthful anti-Obama ad

FOREIGN POLICY

  • Obama not only opposed the surge, but actually predicted it would make matters worse.
  • was spectacularly wrong on his biggest foreign policy judgment call since joining the Senate.
  • promised to meet without preconditions with the rogue leaders of America’s worst enemies
  • Iran’s idea of preconditions: Pull all US troops out of the Middle East, and abandon support for “Zionist” Israel.

DISDAIN FOR THE HEARTLAND

  • rated the most liberal United States Senator in 2007 by the non-partisan National Journal
  • farther left than Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer, and self-proclaimed socialist Bernie Sanders.
  • Told the superwealthy in San Francisco average Americans get “bitter” and “cling” to their guns and religion
  • scolds fellow citizens for doing awful things like driving SUVs, heating their homes to a comfortable temperature, and eating as much as they’d like.

THE RACE CARD

  • has personally played the race card at least eight times on video
  • accused Republicans of trying to “scare” voters by mentioning that he “doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.”

Why Ayers, The Rev. Wright and his other past relationships do matter.

How our presidents make their decisions are based on their philosophical foundation they bring to the office. For example:

John Kennedy & Ronald Regan …believed in the resolve and determination of the American people.

Linden Johnson…believed that Americans wanted the Government to fix our problems.

Jimmy Carter….believed that all of god’s children were good.

Bill Clinton….relied on the direction of the political winds

George Bush…believed that all of humanity has the God given right to personal freedom.

Whether or not we agree or disagree with the foundations these presidents brought with them to office we knew when we voted this was how they would govern.

This is what worries me about Obama’s relationships.

These are Obama’s words at the convention.

“It’s not because John McCain doesn’t care. It’s because John McCain doesn’t get it.
For over two decades, he’s subscribed to that old, discredited Republican philosophy – give more and more to those with the most and hope that prosperity trickles down to everyone else. In Washington, they call this the Ownership Society, but what it really means is – you’re on your own. Out of work? Tough luck. No health care? The market will fix it. Born into poverty? Pull yourself up by your own bootstraps – even if you don’t have boots. You’re on your own. “

    Let’s look back @ history

    George Washington crossing the Delaware.
During the night of December 25, Washington led his troops across the ice-swollen Delaware about 9 miles north of Trenton. The weather was horrendous and the river treacherous. Raging winds combined with snow, sleet and rain to produce almost impossible conditions. To add to the difficulties, a significant number of Washington’s force marched through the snow without shoes.
The next morning they attacked to the south, taking the Hessian garrison by surprise and over-running the town. After fierce fighting, and the loss of their commander, the Hessians surrendered.
Washington’s victory was complete but his situation precarious. The violent weather continued – making a strike towards Princeton problematic. Washington and his commanding officers decided to retrace their steps across the Delaware taking their Hessian prisoners with them.
These great Americans did not look to their government for new boots, and what would be the result if they would have stopped and waited for new boots.
So, Mr. Obama Maybe John McKain does get it. We Americans from the start have always pulled ourselves up by our boot straps even when we didn’t have boots. THAT’S WHAT HAS MADE US GREAT.
